Welcome to my web site! My name is Ty Allinger (formerly Ty Hope) and this is my tiny piece of the Web. If you browse around you'll find information about me, who I am, what I'm all about, as well as a few pictures of friends and family. But most importantly, on the Exercises page, you'll find MP3's and PDF's of many drum line warm-ups I've played or heard or used or written. These exercises are here for students to download and practice. There are two audio files for every piece, one slow and one reefed! If you think you've heard some of these before, you're probably correct. I take credit for maybe half dozen (if that) of what you'll find. Many exercises were originally written by Mr. Tom Float, who I contribute all of my marching percussion knowledge. Some have been altered slightly, all have been played by countless drum lines. So, go off with your sticks and pad and chop out!!! Let the drum God's shine down!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! to the 2007 Urbana Percussion Section on their 1st Place finish at the Atlantic Coast Championships. Their 19.8 percussion score was a record high for any group 3 band. NICE!!! DRUM LINE SHOW MUSIC This is also the place to find your show music if I am the percussion arranger for your program. Click on the Music tab and find your school or organization. There should be sheet music, scores, and MP3's of all your stuff. If you have any trouble downloading sheet music or audio files please email me ASAP. As well, email me anytime with questions, comments or concerns. I'm here to help you and your percussion program prosper.
Enjoy the process! Ty
